When I started 3D printing and built my first printer I bought a qubd extruder, and realised like many presumably it wasn’t perfect.
It did however print well enough to print a replacement. I seem to recall it was the minimalist mk7 replacement by whoisawhatis
After this printed somewhat better I upgraded to the one as pictured on the right below.
Over time you will see the design was adapted till the current version as seen on the left.
More complex to assemble but reliably loads filament without trouble and works every time.
I don’t have to think about filament not feeding much anymore.
